How Pure works
Ease of use
Send a Date Request and await a response from the Pure members in your area.
Chat features are activated when a ‘match’ has been made.
A date request or chat can only last an hour.
Matchmaking
Your location decides if your photo will appear on Pure users’ feeds.
Your availability dictates if you will be seen on the profiles of other members.
There are no search criteria to dictate who you will meet.
You decide the match by choosing whether to respond to a Date Request or continue a chat.
Messaging
If the desire is mutual, then you and your match will be able to chat using instant messages. A chat will last an hour. Just enough time to decide if you’re right for each other and want the same things.
At any point in the conversation, you remove yourself from it; your profile will be deleted from each other’s feed.
Search Functions
There are no search functions on Pure. There is only the feed of date requests from the people in your geographical area and are currently online.
Requests and chats will disappear after an hour and the only way to seek out an individual you wished you’d responded to, is to wait until they appear on your feed again.
Safety & Security
Customer service
Customer service is limited. However, you can email them at any time if you have concerns about other Pure members.
Aggressive behavior, upsetting messages, and overly explicit photos are not tolerated, and there will be a ban put in place for 24 hours.
The ban will be permanent for repeat offenders.
An immediate ban is enforced for scamming, spamming of the sight, and trying to extort or blackmail money.
Verification
There is no verification of identity. Pure is an anonymous app on which your email address and photo are the only links to you as a person.
